At the age of eight, Levente Zsíros began his music studies in Miskolc, majoring in piano, then continued in Budapest at the Szent István Király Secondary School of Music, studying piano and music theory. He was then admitted to the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, earning him his diplomas in Orchestral and Choral Conducting.
He participated in Eric Whitacre's master course, László Marosi's conducting course in Győr, and the master course organized by Zsolt Hamar. From September 2021, he is a mentee of the Collegium Symphonicum Hungaricum program by Zsolt Hamar.
He has worked with many Hungarian symphony orchestras, including the Budapest Philharmonic Society Orchestra, the Óbuda Danubia Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Alba Regia Symphony Orchestra. He is a regular conductor of the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra.
Levente Zsíros has conducted performances by several contemporary choirs, chamber ensembles and orchestras and has also worked with composition students in a joint course organised by the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.
Between 2019 and 2022, he was also the conductor of the VME Lajos Vass Choir and, from 2019, the conductor of the Szent Anna Choir and Orchestra.
Currently, he works as assistant conductor of the Hungarian State Opera, where he made his debut in February 2022, when he conducted Benjamin Britten: A Midsummer Night's Dream.
